About Us

Whanganui Opera Week is a series of public events where students of the New Zealand Opera School are based at Wanganui Collegiate Campus during 2 weeks in early January. There are various public performances which culminate in a Gala evening at the Royal Wanganui Opera House. Other events include a very popular lunchtime concert; public masterclasses; an evening of singing in various restaurants around town and the sell-out service in Wanganui Collegiate School Chapel.
